Bernkastel-Kues is considered the heart of the “Middle Mosel” and charms everyone with its colourful, half-timbered gabled houses on the market square, the town hall, the “Spitzhaus”, the castle ruins of Landshut and its steep hillside vineyards not to mention the old wineries in the Kues district. This includes our old vaulted cellars and rustic inner courtyard which provide a backdrop for beautiful, atmospheric wine festivals where everyday life can be forgotten. You’ll always receive a personal, friendly welcome from us.
We come from a family of vintners which has been making wine for over three hundred years, so we are deeply rooted in the tradition of viticulture.
In Bernkastel-Kues vineyards and wine-growing work wonderfully together. The surroundings are a source of constant inspiration to us and encourage us to go to extraordinary lengths, be it in the vineyard or in the wine production.
That is why we love our work and have designed the size of our winery in such a way that we can do all the work ourselves, so that that we and our guests feel comfortable here - and we reckon that you can tell.
